I am never doing a crazyass costume like this ever again. To a lot of seasoned costumers out there this may not exactly be a terribly difficult costume, but omg.. I nearly perished getting this done. This is probably my most complicated costume to date, and I decided to construct it entirely myself because tailoring this would have been way beyond my budget. In retrospect, should have just sent it to the tailor -_-

The guns were graciously lent to me by :iconzander-d: who saved my hide, really, because had I needed to make the props as well, I wouldn't have been able to finish in time for the convention.

I kind of wanted to write a bit about the costume construction, but just thinking about it gave me a headache, so perhaps I'll leave it till later.

There are a few inaccuracies, a couple of accessories I left out, and the hairstyle is rather inaccurate. I opted last minute to not adhere to the long, flowing hairstyle from the original illustration because I didn't want it to tangle and get caught in the ruffled collar, which is trimmed in strings of little pearls. Will fix all this in time for the photoshoot.

Mmmmh I think I'll make a question out of curiosity.
Your face looks really different than usual here. I think it's obvious you used some dark colors in the sides of the nose to thin it... but... didi you stuff something into your cheeks? Is it just not having hair around? You look chubbier in a pretty way.

I know what you mean, I'd love to try and tackle a Granado Espada costume some day, but damn are they intimidating! You did a wonderful job though!
