This set of costumes is based off one of the more obscure b&w manga illustrations; rather simple compared to the other rich and opulent artwork, but we love it all the same! I'm glad we chose this deep royal blue for the costumes, otherwise we might've blended into the background LOL.

I couldn't make out the exact design of the sword from that one illustration, so I just improvised. It was the night before the event so I pulled every ghetto propmaking cheatcode trick I knew just to complete this prop. Took me a grand total of two and a half hours, but still I wish I'd allowed myself a bit more time.

Ah the fabric looks really rich and pretty~ I was going to use a fabric like that in red for an artbook cosplay of pandora hearts, but it's so hot in Florida during the summer ;A;

And even though you had to use a cheat code very little time for your sword it looks pretty good to me : D what material did you use? Friendly plastic? :O

Yeah, I would totally steer clear of this fabric for warm climates, unless the event area is airconditioned, haha.

The sword's made of cardboard, craft foam, and hot glue.
